Use these things with caution. A lot of them have fine prints that say how much you have to spend, what the forced gratuity will be if you use the coupon, how many entrees you must buy and other exclusions like alcohol and stuff. They’re a good deal if you’re frugal and understand how they work. If you’re gonna be spending 50 bucks at your local joint anyway, and you deduct the cost of the certificate (2) and the charged gratuity (Often I see 18%, so it’s 9 bucks for a 50 meal), it still comes out cheaper (11 versus 25), but in all honesty, you aren’t saving enough to order a million of these and eat out every day.
I am just warning people who think this is a really slick deal that it is a deal, and it can save you money, but expectations wise it’s really a 10-15 savings on a 50 dollar or over meal.

Wrong, you added a tip into the discounted meal yet you forgot to add a tip which you would have given otherwise(I pretty much always give 20%) to the original cost.
