There’s a ton of magazine subscriptions to be had on the internet, and for the last few months I’ve noticed a general lack of central database for magazine subscriptions for users to take advantage of. After starting a website to bring these to users’ attention, I’ve decided to share my finds with you.

Just a few things to note:

• Please mention when a deal is dead/expired and feel free to post new free subscriptions. If you’re posting a new deal, try and post the source site (whether it’s FreeBiz or whatnot).
• If you’re posting a new deal, make sure there’s no referrals or whatnot from other sites in your Deal URL if you grabbed it from another forum. It slows down the loading of the deal and it leads to the site being ‘down’ if the referral isn’t responding.
• Reply if you use and it worked fine. It’s nice to know if offers still work so other people can take advantage of the deal!
• If it asks for your Industry/Job (FBM uses this), use Other/Student and it should work and not give you any trouble at all. If a deal does not accept using Other/Student, it’s usually dead.
• Please post if the deal is dead. Helps me try to find replacements for it since sometimes other links/offers exist for the same magazine as soon as one deal runs out.

I’m fairly sure i can hack mercury magazines to give any subscription via the regular interface using just firebug.

It appears the key part to know is a magazines number. Like for example:

It looks like all the magazines end in zero and go from 100 to 2220+ in increments of ten. Using firebug you can replace the script components on the submit page to whatever number you actually want to get and submit it.

i got to go for now, but if someone can get the numbers of all the good magazines I’ll make a tutorial on how to get whatever you want.

Alright, it appears to work. I’ve just subscribed to Esquire without it being available. If I get it in the mail I’ll post a complete how to on getting magazines from mercurymagazines.
